RACING TEAM

The Bicycle X-Change has been involved in racing from the very beginning in 1973.

The 1970’s were the heyday of bicycle motocross racing, or BMX.  Michael Scanga, the owner of The Bicycle X-Change, became heavily involved in the BMX scene from the very beginning.

The Bicycle X-Change has sponsored teams every year since the shop opened back in 1973.  The 2004-2005 BMX team (pictured right) currently has six state champions.

Team Factory BXC at times has included well over a dozen fully supported riders.

Today the Bicycle X-Change has teams, and sponsored riders, in several different forms of bicycle racing including BMX, Road Racing, Mountain Biking, Triathlon, and Duathlon.
